April and her Mum, Rachael, have just delivered this beautiful rainbow bouquet to me.
Its arrival has been greatly anticipated and I was immediately reminded of a quote by the author, Jodi Picoult: “Words are like nets – we hope they’ll cover what we mean, but we know they can’t possibly hold that much joy, or grief, or wonder.”
Today, my net burst…with excitement and delight!
When I first saw April’s creations, I was in awe! I knew that this posy would be perfect for a special someone I’m meeting in December and, now, I’m holding it in my hands! I know the wheel of excitement will continue to turn, carrying with it the love and hope present in all such beginnings, as the next couple of weeks pass. I feel that April’s talented fingers and creative soul have crafted those same feelings into this gift and will join my own Welcome, which will last long beyond that particular special day which is rapidly approaching.

Ladies, I just received 3 cards that I had asked April to make for birthdays coming up in the coming weeks. Cannot put them up as I do not want the recipients to see them.
